Can you believe it's almost the end of the year already? Time flies! So, back in April, my wife and I had this wild idea. We thought, "Why not share our love for Chelsea, Quebec, with everyone?" No big plan, just some blog posts about the awesome places and people here.

We wanted to show off the town without any politics or hidden agendas—just pure love for Chelsea. We hoped anyone reading would feel that vibe and maybe pay us a visit with the same excitement for our awesome community.

But whoa, did things take off more than we ever expected! Almost all the messages we got this year were overflowing with love and support. Sure, there was that 1% that wasn't so nice (we think maybe we didn't explain things well or missed having a bilingual site from the get-go), so it's all good.

Can you imagine? We started this journey just 273 days ago and put in about 800 hours. Late nights when the baby slept or squeezing in 15 minutes here and there—phew, it was a rollercoaster! But man, it's been a blast.

So, we started with this tiny blog. And guess what? Now we've got a whole new website in the works! It took forever, but we think it's totally worth it. Still got a few sections to polish, but we're almost there—dedicated pages for all the cool spots in Chelsea, activities, trails, and a brand new events section. Our blog? It's now the Chelsea Journal—a mix of local news and stuff we love to share.

Oh, and we're dipping our toes into French content too. And hey, couldn't decide on the website colors, so ta-da! You can switch between light and dark modes (there's a sneaky little button in the footer).

But here's the real deal: our "Give Back and Leave Chelsea Better than We Found It" section. This is what keeps us going, even when we're dead tired. It's why we do what we do. We hope it grows into something big, sparking cool projects that help our town thrive. Join us in spreading some love for our environment and community!

Thanks a ton for all your support and kindness. Seriously, it means the world. And thanks for understanding when things aren't perfect. Most importantly, thanks for making us feel at home in Chelsea.

Here's to an awesome new year! Keep an eye out for the 2024 updates. And hey, drop us a line however you like. Oh, and if you want to lend a hand, consider signing up for our monthly newsletter. It's free and packed with good stuff.
