The Meredith Centre in Chelsea, Quebec, is a cultural and sports complex that officially opened on September 29th, 2012. This modern facility offers a multitude of services to the community, making it the ultimate destination for sports, fitness, cultural programming, and more!

Under one roof, the Meredith Centre boasts an arena, a fitness centre, meeting rooms, a banquet hall, a lounge, and lots of fun and laughter. It is a community recreation complex for individuals and families to connect with their neighbours, make new friends, and have a great time.

At the heart of the Meredith Centre is a strong commitment to the community. The Centre is dedicated to serving and uplifting its community, and community is a key pillar of the Centre. The staff is eager to continue to strengthen and uplift Chelsea and surrounding communities. The Centre is a community centre for everyone, and its doors and ears are always open to community members.

The Meredith Centre is a place to connect with family, friends, and other community members. The Meredith Centre offers a variety of programs for all ages and fitness levels. The all-level spin class is a fun and inviting class environment where individuals can improve their cardiovascular capacity and increase their strength and muscular endurance. The yoga classes are welcoming and inviting to all, taught by industry experts, making it a great place to start or continue your yoga journey. The fitness classes, such as boot camps, circuit, barre, stretching, and more, are taught by certified professionals and offer a great fitness repertoire. Additionally, the Centre offers racquet sports, like pickleball, and ultimate frisbee, which is a fun way to meet other community members and enjoy some time on the field.

The Meredith Centre also offers facility rentals, whether it be for a party, special event, educational workshop, or something else. The Centre provides a variety of spacious, bright, and comfortable rooms in Chelsea, just minutes from Gatineau and Ottawa. The Centre Meredith Gym is a community gym with a wide variety of equipment, enabling individuals to focus on strength training, cardio, and flexibility in a multi-purpose space. The cardio room has treadmills, spin bikes, ellipticals, and a SkiErg, and the gym has weight machines, free weights, functional training with kettlebells and ropes, and a third separate fitness area geared towards functional fitness training.

Lastly, the arena is perfect for hockey, skating, practice, games, friends, and community. The Meredith Centre is a hub of community activities and engagement, where individuals can connect with themselves, their friends, and their neighbours. Whether it be for fitness, sports, or community building, the Meredith Centre is a great place to be.
